Uttam Kumar fires on Telangana police
TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy has been angered on the Telangana police department here on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters here on the occasion, TPCC chief said though the three accused in the murder of TRS corporation in Warangal were surrendered before the police, cops have booked DCC president Rajender Reddy in the murder case.
Nothing wrong in punishing guilty but it was not proper to blame innocents, who do not have links with the case, he opined.
Terming it as unfortunate, he made it clear that Congress party would not keep quiet if the officers try to level baseless allegations against the opposition leaders in order to favor the ruling party.
Asked the cops to withdraw the case at least now, he made it clear that police have to take responsibility if anything happened in the future.
Reacting on the Information Technology Minister, K Taraka Rama Rao’s comments on Congress party, Uttam Kumar Reddy said KTR was making cheap comments against Congress.
KTR was a junior in politics and minister has no right to make such kind of derogatory statements. He was making such statement as his father was CM.
