Telangana Government Decided to Appoint a Task Force
Telangana State government decided on Monday to appoint a task force for creating new districts. In a Press release in Hyderabad, the Telangana Cabinet said that they discussed the status of the creation of new districts by this Dussehra.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had decided to appoint a committee under the leadership of the Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma. The task force would look into the administrative wings of the new districts.
According to the press release, K. Chandrasekhar Rao expressed his satisfaction over the feedback coming from the people on the new districts. He sought suggestions from senior bureaucrats on the required strength of employees to work at the field level.
Telangana government had earlier announced that it would be carving out 17 new districts and the existing ten, the total number of districts to 27.
