Ingredients to prepare Sakinalu:

Rice

2 cups

Sesame seeds

¼ cup

Ajwain

2 tea spoon

Red Chilli powder

1 tea spoon

Salt

to taste

Oil

for deep fry

Clean and wash the rice, and soak in water for 5 hours or over night.

After 5 hours drain the water and dry the rice on thin cloth for atleast half an hour.

Then grind it as fine powder in a mixie jar or in machine.

Take a large bowl add rice flour, ajwain, sesame seeds, red chilli powder, salt and mix well.

Add water slowly and mix in into a dough.

The dough should be medium consistency, it must not be too watery or to thick.

Take water in a bowl and wet your hands.

Take small portion of the dough into your hand and make it into round thin circles with fingers on a

cloth.

Like this complete the same procedure for the whole dough.

Meanwhile heat oil in a pan.

When oil is heat drop this circles or sakinalu in the oil and deep fry till light golden brown.

Remove from oil and place on the paper napkin.

Now the Sakinalu are ready to serve.

When cooled, store in a air-tight container.
