The Praja Telangana leaders have alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao had failed to fulfil the promises made to the people of Telangana during the electioneering and again deceiving the people with false promises.
Praja Telangana convenor Gade Innaiah and co-convenor Srisail Reddy, coordinator Krishnamraju charged that the TRS government was neglecting the core sectors for which the Telangana Statehood movement was launched.
During the last 60 years the core issues of irrigation, employment, welfare, health, education, etc. were neglected. Even after the formation of Telangana State, they were further neglected by new Government they alleged.
Reminding that the government had promised employment to each household in Telangana State, they said the TSPSC had issued notifications for only for 18,000 jobs.The government is showing more interest in filling up of vacant MLA and MLC posts than filling up vacant government jobs, they noted.
They also flayed telangana State government for not withdrawing the criminal cases registered on several thousands of youth, who played a crucial role during the Statehood movement.
They also charged telangana government had to stop migration of labourers from Mahabubnagar and other districts in the State, as it had not allocated its share of Rs. 400 crore for providing employment to the labourers under the NREGS.
They also complained that The management quota seat in medical college had increased from Rs. 80 lakh in united AP to over Rs. 1 crore and above.
In order to expose the true colours of the TRS government, they had decided to bring out a publication called “Dhaga Paduthunna Telangana” in association with Sneha Publications on June 2 (Telangana Formation Day) with evidences and statistics about the betrayal of all sectors by telangana government.
