Houses for poor in Banjara and jubilee Hills

Telangana chief minister KCR made some interesting comments in review meeting with officials about the homeless poor people in Hyderabad.

KCR said that he is willing to arrange houses for all the homeless and needy people in Hyderabad city and as per the government records, the number is anywhere close to 2 lakhs.

Chief Minister KCR was seen talking about the surplus and unused land in the posh areas like Banjara hills and Jubilee Hills . He has ordered the officials to get complete details of the vacant lands and also asked them to prepare a feasibility report of building houses for the poor people in the same localities.

Though this decision might draw a huge dissent from the posh and established areas, KCR doesn’t want to lose out on the vacant lands. “We want to use the allotted yet vacant lands of Universities and Govt Offices for providing shelter to the poor,” said KCR.
