Bollywood Choreographer Saroj Khan Passed Away
Three-time National Award Winner , Veteran Bollywood Choreographer, 71 year old Saroj Khan , Passed away due to cardiac arrest on early friday morning.
Saroj Khan was admitted to Guru Nanak Hospital in Bandra last Saturday after she complained of breathing issues. The mandatory Covid-19 test done at the hospital showed a negative result.
Saroj Khan can safely be called the first choreographer who made her profession stand out among the shine and sheen of Bollywood. In her 40 year old career in the film industry she has 2000 plus songs to her credit.
According to reports, the veteran choreographer was long suffering from diabetes and other age-related health ailments. It is being reported that her health started deteriorating yesterday and she passed away at 1.52 am on Friday.
She choreographed many iconic film songs such as Yeh Ishq Haaye and Hawa Hawaii from Mr.India (1987 ). Stars such as Kareena Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Amitabh Bachchan have all paid tributes to her.
Her list of credits include iconic numbers such as Dhak Dhak Karne Laga from Beta (1992), Ek Do Teen from Tezaab (1988) and many more.
